FF Pest & Hygiene Management
Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 October 2026
These terms apply when you use this website, ask us for a quote, or book a pest control, hygiene or weed-control service with us. FF Pest & Hygiene Management is a trading name of Fumani Faza (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2019/375101/07, based in Rosslyn, Pretoria ("we", "us", "our").
When you accept a quote or confirm a booking, by WhatsApp, phone, email, our website form or in person, you agree to these terms. Please read them with our Privacy Policy.
1. Our services
We provide pest control (general pests, rodents, termites, bed bugs and flies), hygiene services (deep cleaning, disinfection and window cleaning) and weed control for homes, businesses, complexes and public facilities in Rosslyn, Pretoria and the surrounding areas. Whether we can take on a job depends on where it is, our schedule and what we find on site.
2. Quotes
- A quote is based on what you tell us and, where we've done one, our inspection of the site.
- Unless your quote says otherwise, it's valid for 30 days from the date it was issued.
- If the site, the size of the area or the level of infestation turns out to be materially different from what was described, we'll tell you before we continue and give you a revised quote. We won't do extra work you haven't agreed to.
- Prices are in rand. Your quote states whether VAT is included.
3. Bookings and programmes
- A booking is confirmed once we have confirmed the date with you in writing (WhatsApp or email is fine).
- Once-off treatments cover the visit described in the quote.
- Monthly and quarterly programmes run for the period stated in your quote or service agreement. Either party may end a programme by giving the written notice stated in that agreement. If no notice period is stated, 30 days' written notice applies.
4. Cancelling and rescheduling
- You may cancel or move a booking at no charge if you give us at least 24 hours' notice.
- If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or we can't get onto the site when we arrive, we may charge a call-out fee to cover the technician's travel and time. We'll tell you the amount in your quote.
- Sometimes we have to reschedule because of bad weather (for example, rain before a weed or outdoor treatment), illness, a vehicle breakdown or a safety concern. We'll let you know as soon as we can and offer you the next available slot at no extra cost.
5. Access and preparation
- Please make sure we can safely get to all the areas to be treated at the agreed time. For complexes and businesses, that includes common areas, refuse rooms, ceilings, stores and gates.
- Before some treatments, we'll send you preparation instructions, such as clearing cupboards, covering food, or moving furniture away from walls. Treatment works best when these are followed. If they aren't, the results can be weaker, and we may need to charge for a return visit.
- Managing agents and trustees are responsible for giving residents or tenants notice of a visit, unless we've agreed in writing to do this ourselves.
6. Safety and chemicals
- We use registered pest control products according to their label directions, and our technicians wear protective equipment.
- Our technician will tell you how long people and pets need to stay out of treated areas, and what to do afterwards. Please follow these instructions and keep children and pets away until treated surfaces are dry.
- Tell us before the visit if anyone on the site is pregnant, has asthma, allergies or a chemical sensitivity, or if there are fish tanks, beehives, food-preparation areas or vegetable gardens near the treatment area. We'll adjust the treatment where we can.
- After the visit, you'll get a job card and a treatment report, and a pest control certificate where it applies. The report records the products and areas treated.
7. Re-treatment and guarantee
- Some pests, such as rodents, cockroaches and termites, may need more than one visit. We'll explain this when we quote.
- Where your quote or treatment report includes a guarantee, our standard re-treatment guarantee applies for the period and pests stated there. If the same pest comes back in the treated area during that period, we'll come back and re-treat it at no extra charge.
- The guarantee doesn't cover re-infestation from untreated neighbouring properties or other outside sources, new entry points created after the treatment, cases where preparation or aftercare instructions weren't followed, other pest products being used on the treated areas, or a programme that wasn't completed as recommended.
8. Payment
- Payment terms are stated on your quote or invoice. Once-off jobs are usually paid on completion. Programme clients are invoiced monthly or quarterly, as agreed.
- We accept EFT. Please use your invoice number as the reference.
- If an account is overdue, we may pause scheduled visits until it's settled. We may also charge interest on overdue amounts, as allowed by law.
9. Liability
- We take reasonable care on every job. If we damage your property through our own negligence, please tell us within 48 hours of the visit. We'll inspect it and repair or pay for the damage, limited to the value of the service in question.
- As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of income or stock, or for damage caused by pests before or after our treatment.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, or any liability that can't be limited by law.
10. Your rights as a consumer
If the Consumer Protection Act applies to you, you have the right to services of good quality, done in a reasonable time and manner, and the right to fair and honest dealing. If you're unhappy with a service, tell us within 10 working days of the visit. We'll come back to inspect it and put right any work that wasn't done properly.
11. Using this website
